Concerts - one of our favorite things to do!

If you don't know already, Bryan and I LOVE going to concerts together, especially COUNTRY concerts :)  This past weekend we treated his brother Stephen and his girlfriend, Katelynn, to the Billie Currington, Uncle Cracker, Zach Brown Band and Kenny Chesney concert at Arrowhead!  I must say it was AWESOME (minus the acoustics sometimes were off due to the stadium and them not using the stadiums' awesome new sound system.  Did I mention Turner built the New Arrowhead Stadium.

Besides that, this weekend was crazy.  We met up with one of the ushers and good friend of mine, Clark Bowden, for dinner and drinks on Friday night on the plaza at our favorite restaurant there, Brio.  The other fun part of the weekend was Sunday I drove up to Des Moines to pick up my wedding dress!!!!!  I couldn't wait to see it and put it on again...and I definitely can't wait to wear it in 44 days!!!  Bryan's mom, dad and sister Chantel met me there to see it in person and then we shopped for a little bit for his mom's dress for the wedding day.  Then I went to Ames to meet up with my Grandma Bell, Aunt Barb and cousin Jenna.  They were going with me to the seamstress in Boone as there were a few things that needed done (a couple inches of hemming, one part of the dress moved over and then the bustle).  The best part is that the seamstress said she'll have it ready in 2 weeks when my mom and sister will be in Iowa for my dad's family's bridal shower!!

Bryan worked a lot around the house.  Unfortunately the dormer shower drain caused some issues.  And now, the other night, the garbage disposal started acting up and now we can't run water down the kitchen sink or anything.  Bryan's tried everything with the roto ripper and going down the whole drain and pipe, but there seems to be a clog too far down where he can't reach.  So, a plumber may have to be called...perfect timing!
